Luna Naughty has been setting stages alight—sometimes literally—for 15 years. She specializes in performing but also dabbles in aerial, fire eating, burlesque, and flow arts. Her passion for the circus community and its many props, disciplines, and people has filled her curiosity and creativity for years, becoming a sort of expert generalist in her career.

She has been fortunate to perform at venues like the Midlothian Castle,  the Canadian Museum of Nature, and the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts. Luna has also taught and performed with Kingston Circus Arts, Rouge Studio of Dance, and NorthFIRE Circus. She is excited to share the stage with Cirquonscient as a performer, returning to Ottawa—a city where her love of circus began and where she worked, played, and thrived for over a decade.

Skye brings charm and energy to the stage. An up and coming performer in the Ottawa circus community, Skye has created an amazing act for this event including knives, unicycle and his signature quirky sense of humour. Skye has been seen at events such as: Ottawa Winterlude, Kemptville Buskerfestival, Ottawa Buskerfestival, Ottawa ComicCon and Ottawa Fire and Ice Festival.

Corinne's main claim to fame was to be one of Snoop Dogg's concert pole dancers. This lucky franco-ontarienne also performed on pole, lyra-pole and chair dance for cabarets, variety shows, outdoor festivals, community events, private parties, raves... Corinne's freelancing artist life also includes acting for theatre and camera, voice work, writing, MC'ing, and teaching at Pole Fitness Academy, in Ottawa.

With over 15 years of combined experience in aerials and dance, Emma is a versatile performer known for her seamless integration of gravity-defying aerial movements and fluid dance techniques. Trained in various disciplines, including aerial net, silks, corde lisse, lollipop lyra, hoop, and contemporary dance, she captivates audiences with strength, grace, and storytelling through movement.

A circus artist and street performer. Joey always finds a unique twist to his acrobatic and juggling tricks. He prides himself on delivering a truly unique show with skills you won't see anywhere else.

Sophie and Mel mesmerize audiences with their duo dynamics performed on cube, hoop, silks and trapeze.  

A seasoned veteran of open mic nights in Kingston, Toronto and now Ottawa, Patrick is a lifelong  musician adept at playing saxophone, djembe and tin whistle to support his loop pedal adventures.  Piano and guitar are his go-to instruments for artistic expression, the latter supporting his popular role as the campfire jukebox. After a successful debut as MC of the first ever Cirque A La Carte, Patrick is back with more tricks up his sleeve for the next edition.  Dabbling in comedy, magic & circus arts he is ready to keep you entertained between stellar circus performances.

Melissa is driven by creativity and a thirst for artistic expression. She is a professional performer for festivals, cabarets, private and corporate events. Her life is a tapestry woven with threads of aerial and other circus arts. In the air, each twist and turn offers freedom and boundless possibility. Her creativity knows no bounds and her imagination has sparked the creation of multiple original aerial circus productions . Melissa is the co-founder of Ottawa aerial arts company Aerial Antics, and a member of Cirquonscient.

Renée-Claude is a hula hooper and aerialist who teaches and performs on aerial silks and trapeze. Through circus arts, RC found a daily dose of play, community, and an outlet for her creativity. As a member of Cirquonscient, she has been co-creating shows and performing in and around Ottawa since 2018. She is excited to present a new act, built with love for this very special evening!  

Sophie is a professional aerialist known for her captivating performances on hoop, rope, and silks. With a dynamic style, she wows audiences with daring stunts and breathtaking routines. Also a passionate instructor, she mentors aspiring aerialists and is constantly seeking new challenges to expand her skills and bring her unique artistry to the world of aerial acrobatics.

Anastasiia is an accomplished aerialist coach and circus artist. She holds a Master’s degree from the Kyiv Circus Academy and has showcased her talent at prestigious festivals, including the Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo in 2019. Anastasiia has received numerous awards, such as the People’s Choice Award at the 2019 Artistika of the Sea, bronze at the 2018 European Youth Festival in Germany, and gold at the 2016 Israeli International Circus Festival in Ashdod. Her career has taken her around the world, performing in countries such as Singapore, Taiwan, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Germany, and many more. In 2020, Anastasiia and her husband founded a studio specializing in aerial gymnastics and acrobatics. Currently, she coaches at Aerial Antics in Ottawa, where she continues to develop her skills and inspire her students.

Andrii Balykhin has dedicated his life to acrobatics, achieving the rank of Master of Sports. He graduated from the Kyiv Circus Academy with a Master’s degree in aerial gymnastics and has since toured internationally, earning numerous accolades, including gold at the 2018 Festival "Les feux de la Rampe" in France. Andrii has performed worldwide, including in China, Europe, and Germany, and has coached at his own school, "Young Vision Team," in Kyiv. Currently based in Canada, he continues to develop his acrobatic skills and share his expertise with others passionate about body control. 

Maya is an aerialist here to clown around, bringing a playful energy to their performances. They have been training in aerial arts since 2017, specializing in aerial silks, corde lisse, lyra, and acrobatic partner dancing. With a background in rhythmic gymnastics, hip-hop, pole dancing, and drag performance, Maya’s unique style blends technical aerial skills with dynamic, contemporary circus movement. Having performed in the Ottawa arts scene for the past two years, Maya continues to evolve and infuse fun and creativity into every performance.
